  • Geographically dispersed network of medical and diagnostic departments (across different villages).
  • Lack of modern tools for reporting studies in all departments.
  • Insufficient number of qualified radiologists across all departments.
  • Patient waiting time for study reports was up to 2 days.

Solution

  • A department was established on RadioLance for the institution, and training on platform usage was conducted.
  • 4 employees were granted access to the platform.
  • 4 units of equipment were connected.

Results

Municipal NPE management has noted the following outcomes from implementing the system:
    • Elimination of the need to move radiologists between departments, saving logistics costs.
    • Optimization of service delivery processes based on diagnostic department workload.
    • Implementation of the solution reduced the study reporting process and patient waiting time to 2 hours.
    • Compliance by patients with the algorithm for redirection between different levels of medical care, especially for those with cerebrovascular and cardiovascular disorders.
As an additional benefit, Municipal NPE now has increased capacity to fulfill obligations under the packages of medical guarantees from the National Health Service of Ukraine (NHSU).
